LADIES AUXILIARY UPDATE
Redmond Ladies
Auxiliary President, Carole Browning, has been re-elected as District Deputy for
2015-2016. Congratulations, Carole! Show your support of Carole and the District
by attending District meetings with her.
The next District meeting is on Sunday, March 8, at Salmon Bay. Join everyone for breakfast at 8 a.m., joint
meeting with the Aeries at 9:30 and individual meetings at 10 a.m. Be an active participant in your District!
Thanks to everyone who
attended the dinner and meeting with the State Madam President, Donna
Simonds. We enjoyed hearing more about
Donna’s charities and meeting the “State Dog,” Bubba. Thanks to everyone who
has so generously contributed to the Humane Society which has made it possible
for pets like Bubba to have loving homes.
More good news
about the January District Dinner Dance – Carole would like to again thank the Redmond
Aerie and Ladies Auxiliary for all the help and support everyone provided for
this event. At the February District
meeting it was reported that Redmond made the largest amount for the District
and had the largest attendance. Way to
go Redmond Eagles! Thanks again to Teri
Benner and Ken Riley for cooking the delicious dinner and to everyone who
served – LouAnn Ballew, Mollie Singleton, Sandy Garske and Cece Contreras.
Many thanks to Myrna
Talaga, Sharon Gottschalk and Mavis Board for keeping the Paddle Wheel games going! We appreciate all you’re doing for the
Auxiliary.
Welcome to new member,
Leona Evans. We hope to see you at
future meetings!
Patsy Fleming and Elfie Palmer’s names were drawn for the membership
pot. However, they weren’t at the
meetings! The pot is now at $85. Come to the meetings, members. YOUR name might be drawn next!
SPECIAL
MEMBERSHIP DRIVE CONTINUES IN MARCH – Invite your friends to become members
during the month of March at the special membership rate of $30! See Membership Chair, LouAnn Ballew, for more
information!
