ROCKIN’ WITH THE “UNDISCLOSED”
Relive the 80’s on Friday, July 26 and dance to the live music of the “Undisclosed.”  Come back on Saturday, July 27 for your favorite rock music again by the “Undisclosed.”  In other words, have a rockin’ weekend right here at the Eagles!

RAISING FUNDS FOR THE ROOF
The auction and all the activities held on May 31 were a huge success.  Our roof fund is now more than $7800!!  Way to go EVERYONE!!  And the 50-50 game continues to be popular on Friday nights.  Our most recent winners were:  Sharon Gottschalk (on auction night), Marty Berndt & Jim Fleming.
The Ladies Auxiliary sold root beer floats on Father’s Day and donated the proceeds to the roof fund.
By the way, THANKS for the great breakfast on Father’s Day hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary and cooked by Lena.  Great job, Ladies!

EAGLES MEMBERSHIP RUNS IN THE FAMILY
The father of our new Aerie President, Scott Nettleton, is an Eagles member in Vero Beach, Florida.  And, a strong tradition of leadership runs in the family of our new Ladies Auxiliary President, Susie Farquharson.   Both her parents, Warren & Tina King, and her brother, Tom, were Redmond Eagles presidents.  We have strong leadership – so as members, let’s be strong supporters!

LADIES AUXILIARY PRESIDENT SELECTS CHARITY
President Susie Farquharson has selected the Breast Cancer Unit at Evergreen Hospital as the organization the Ladies Auxiliary will support this year.  If you would like to make a donation, please contact Susie at the monthly Auxiliary meetings (1st & 3rd Mondays at 7 pm).

YOUR UNUSED EYE GLASSES CAN HELP SOMEONE ELSE
If you have prescription eye glasses that need a new home, please donate them to AmigoVision which, in turn, will donate them to people in various countries around the world.  Please place your donated glasses in a box marked “Eye Glasses Needed” on the bar counter.  Your donation will help someone who may be able to see their grandchildren, read a book or sew again and lead a more productive life.  Glasses will also be used for children for school.  Thank you!  (Sunglasses or glasses that need repair cannot be accepted.)

SUMMER FUN WITH THE TRAVEL CLUB
If you went on the Ellensburg outing, you would have joined us on the tour at the Wild Horse Wind Farm, Petrified Wood Museum, Farmers Market, Historical Museum or tried panning for gold.  It was all great fun!  We’ll have a report on the Copalis outing in the next newsletter.  Don’t forget to sign up and plan on joining us for one of the upcoming outings:
July 19-28                  Saint Maries/Wallace/Ione                           Tyler & Sharon hosting
August 16-18             Napavine – Schooners Bash                       Fin & Laura hosting
