REDMOND EAGLES HAS A GROWING MEMBERSHIP!

At this time last year, the Aerie membership was at 346.  As of July 15, the Aerie membership this year is at 390!!  The Ladies Auxiliary membership has grown too.  Last July its membership was 261; today it is at 276!  Our total membership for both the Aerie and Ladies Auxiliary is 666!    We welcome ALL new members and look forward to seeing you at the club enjoying all the activities and events.  Be sure to participate in the monthly meetings and share your thoughts and ideas!

LADIES AUXILIARY UPDATE

As mentioned above, our Auxiliary membership is growing; most recently with SEVEN new members:

Tomara Westfall, Linda Webster, Cassandra Webster, Andrea Liggett, Debra Huff, Carolyn Fischer, and Anastasia Barnes.  Welcome to all of you!  We look forward to seeing you at future meetings and Auxiliary activities.  Speaking of meetings, in June and July these members lost out on their chance to win the big $$ pot!  Jenny Stevens, Judy Hagle, Ruth Woolford, and Donna Sacco – we missed you!  The pot is now up to $200 – so members come to the meetings and you could be a big winner!

UPDATE ON RAISING FUNDS FOR THE ROOF

The fund continues to grow, so keep on coming down on Friday nights to play the 50-50 game and other fund-raising activities. Our most recent 50-50 winners include “Skylar,” the dog (there’s a story here - ask Mike), Nick Johns, Fred Turner and Chris Wentworth.  Don & Sue Bender won the Gladys Knight tickets and lawn chairs that were raffled off on June 28.  Congrats to all!

ANNUAL PICNIC A BIG SUCCESS!

Thanks to everyone who organized the picnic this year.  Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the perfect weather – not to mention the super burgers and brats and all the other yummy food!  A special thanks to all who donated to the Ladies Auxiliary President’s charity, the Breast Cancer Foundation at Evergreen Hospital.  Because of your generosity, $131 was raised plus $33 for pins.  Thanks so much!

SUMMER FUN WITH THE TRAVEL CLUB

The report is in for Copalis with a larger than normal crowd enjoying a weekend at the beach with NO RAIN!  The Green Lantern, casino and a great time at the potluck – who could ask for more!  Here are the up and coming events:

Aug 30 – Sept 2 – Labor Day in Roy, WA – Dave & Sue hosting

Sept 27, 28, 29 – Rockport, WA – Maggie & Ron hosting

Congrats to Lucky Dollar winner, Lou Ann.  Our next meeting will be on August 14 to discuss more ideas and make plans for additional outings.
