CHRISTMAS GIVING
Once again Eagles members stepped up to the Eagles motto of “people
helping people” by giving generously at Christmas time. Many thanks to everyone who donated the coats
and blankets that were handed out to homeless individuals during Operation
Brown Bag Christmas.
The response to the Christmas Giving Tree was outstanding. Lisa Jensen appreciated all the wonderful
gifts that were donated for several needy families in Redmond.
Your generosity and support made their Christmas really joyful!
“Thank you to everyone who donated to
Operation Brown Bag Christmas. On
Saturday, December 21, over 1000 bags were filled for the homeless with food,
socks, gloves, toiletries, handmade Christmas cards and all the coats and
blankets that were donated here at the Eagles.
A lot of love and the joy of giving happened that day! We appreciate you! “ Candy & Blake Marshall

THANKSGIVING DINNER A GREAT SUCCESS!!
People who attended the Thanksgiving dinner in November reported that it
was a very, very nice, special event.
Many thanks to the coordinators of the event – Scott Nettleton and Belle
Williams and EVERYONE who donated food and cash to make the event
possible. Special thanks Lena Bartram,
Ken Riley, Sam & Mary Smith and everyone who worked in the kitchen to make
sure the food was nice and hot and ready to be served. Thanks also to Candy Marshall who tended bar
that day. AND
thanks to the Ladies Auxiliary for purchasing 3 chafing dishes and much-needed
cutlery!
With all of us continuing to work together, the Redmond Eagles can look
forward to 2014!
If you want to be part of the “team” that keeps things going, all you
have to do is contact Scott Nettleton, Aerie President, or Suzie Farquharson,
