LADIES AUXILIARY NEWS

A warm welcome to our newest members - Wendy, Kathy and Doris!  We look forward to seeing you at future meetings!
More good news – Sharon Gottschalk won the $105 membership pot!  Way to go, Sharon!  You proved that it really “pays” to go to Auxiliary meetings!  We hope to see more members at our upcoming meetings.  YOU could be the next big winner!

TRAVEL CLUB UPDATE
(Submitted by Margie Halgren)

We had a windy and busy Ellensburg outing – Wild Horse Wind & Solar Facility, Ginkgo Petrified Forest, Farmers Market, historical museum and shopping downtown. Ask Beth how the gold panning went; all who panned walked away with some color.
Interested and do not have reservations yet for June 20, 21 and 22 at the Pacific Beach Resort?  Contact Myrna for the phone number.  A potluck is planned for Thursday; the Green Lantern on Friday night, and dinner on Saturday at the Base Café.  Breakfasts in your own rigs or at the Base Café.  And there’s beach walking, the casino, Ocean Shores shopping and visiting the Ocean Shores Eagles Club.
The Gottschalk’s are hosting the mid-week trip to Chelan on July 22 through 24.  There’s a boat trip on the Lady of the Lake in Chelan, and Manson Casino and shopping are in the works.  Interested?
Talk to the Gottschalk’s.
Think outside the box and bring your ideas to our next meeting on June 11.
The Lucky Dollar winner in May was Opal Pope!

CELEBRATION OF LIFE
Long-time Eagles member, Marcel Bobillot, passed away on February 22.  Marcel, who was 96 and ½, had been a Trustee for many years and was an active Travel Club member who loved going to Silver Lake.  Our deepest sympathy is extended to his wife, Marian, and their family.  A celebration of Marcel’s life will be held at the Redmond Eagles on Saturday, July 19 at 2:00 p.m.

REMINDER - Save all your paper grocery bags for Thea to use for discarded pull tabs.
ONE MORE THING ANNUAL REDMOND EAGLES PICNIC - MONROE - SATURDAY, JULY 12.
