CALLING ON ALL VOLUNTEERS!

Our new roof will be complete in just a week or so – believe it or not! – but, we need volunteers to help repair the inside ceilings and walls and begin a new paint job.  Please see any of our friendly bartenders or Mike McClaskey (he’s friendly too) to let them know you’ll help!  Thanks!

PAINT YOUR OWN MASTERPIECE

Thea and Candy are hosting a “painting party” on Saturday, September 6 at 4 p.m.  All supplies and instructions are included.  Bring a friend!  The cost is $25 per person.  You can pay at the bar or through PayPal at artbyaudrey@gmail.com.  Payment in advance will confirm your spot for this afternoon of fun.  Limited spaces available.  Questions?  Ask Candy!

OKTOBERFEST PARTY!

Start celebrating Oktoberfest early on Friday, September 26.
Enjoy our ever-popular prime rib & salad dinner or
traditional German Oktoberfest brats and all the trimmings.

JOINT MEETING

Join your fellow Aerie and Ladies Auxiliary members at the Joint Meeting on Monday, September 29 at 7 p.m.    Contribute your ideas and participate in discussions about upcoming activities.

A BIG THANKS

To DON GISLE for his ongoing help around the club.  Most recently he has done some major repairs inside the club and is always willing to take it upon himself to do things that save us a lot of expenses.  THANK YOU VERY MUCH, DON!!

LADIES AUXILIARY UPDATE

WELCOME to new member, Mary Anne Baldwin.  We hope to see you at future meetings!
The Auxiliary recently supported Aerie activities by contributing $100 for the sound system and by buying a sheet of plywood for the roof!  It also donated $500 to the local YWCA to help children who are residents at the Y purchase school supplies.   President Carole Browning extends a big thanks to everyone who participated in the recent raffle of a Seahawks scarf.  Proceeds will go to the Humane Society.  Auxiliary members Alice Thompson and Rita Jones missed out on winning the membership pot in August.  The pot is now $80; so members, come to the next meeting on September 2 and you could be the winner!
SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP DRIVE IN OCTOBER – Invite your friends to become members during the month of October at the special membership rate of $30!  See Membership Chair, LouAnn Ballew, for more information!

WE NEED YOU TO KEEP BINGO GOING!
Don’t let this popular fall and winter activity go by the wayside.  Step up now and help us keep the games going!  Contact Vi Goessman or Ken Eagleman if you’re interested.
