IMPORTANT JOINT MEETING – PLAN TO ATTEND!

Don’t miss the next joint meeting of the Aerie and Ladies Auxiliary on Monday, September 29 at 7 p.m.  Take part in discussions on exciting changes in the club and plans for our annual Thanksgiving Dinner, holiday giving activities, etc.  We can accomplish a lot by working together.   Good examples are our new roof and sound system!  There is a lot more to be done, so come on down and be part of the team!

HALLELUJAH – WE HAVE A NEW ROOF!!

We did it!  Thanks to the hard work, perseverance and great effort by many, many people, the Redmond Eagles now has a brand new roof!   We’ll now focus on the inside, looking forward to a bright, new fresh look.  Lots of volunteers will be needed.  Here’s your opportunity to be creative!  This is an exciting time to be involved at the Redmond Eagles, so be sure you’re a part of it!!

ANOTHER BIG HALLELUJAH

A HUGE THANKS to a very dedicated group of people – Norma & Fred Turner, Mary & Sam Smith, Sandy & Bud Garske, and Judi & Rod Kettelson – who made our new sound system possible.   Everything is up and running and you can hear EVERYTHING now, from every corner of the club (probably even things you shouldn’t hear!).  And the HD projector is AWESOME!  All the hard work is paying off – thanks to everyone involved in this effort!

BIG WINNER!

Cathy Lindgren won the Seahawks party package.  She also won the Ladies Auxiliary charity raffle prize – a Seahawks scarf.  Way to go, Cathy – you’re all set for the game!!

TRAVEL CLUB UPDATE
(Submitted by Margie Halgren)
Thanks to Dave & Sue Velasco for their warm hospitality at the recent outing at their place in Roy.  We had a great get together that was enjoyed by all!  After that outing, five units continued on to the Oregon coast and enjoyed a full day in McMinnville for shopping, whale watching, viewing the sea lions, sightseeing and enjoying Mo’s chowder.  Thank you, Bill and Gloria, for a wonderful idea.  It all came together very well, and everyone had a great time!
There are no other events planned for the Travel Club this year.  If you have a brainstorm, bring it to the next meeting on October 8.  We’ll be discussing the 2015 Crab Feed – already!!
The lucky dollar winner in September was Mavis Board.

HOLIDAYS AROUND THE CORNER
Join Candy and Thea on November 8 at 4 p.m. to “paint & sip” and have a cookie exchange.  Get ready for the holidays by painting holiday ornaments and snowmen on canvas.  More info on the Facebook page or sign up at the bar.  Cost is $25 per person.  Everyone is welcome!

*Just a note to let you know I've added us to Goggle+. Last month we had a 162 page views! Not bad when only a few seem to use the internet! Blog poster, Ritzy
